Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

it's weird to think about a decade ago we were in a similar situation but in a much lower division.. in fact it's weird to think at all that only a few years ago we weren't even in the league and now we're mixing it up with the likes of the shitey whites and 'Ull and now people are wetting themselves cos they can't handle a relegation battle from the highest level we've been at for half a century when we are, really, just a pub team having a laugh! HAVE A LAUGH, folks, it's a hobby!

Sorry but I'd argue the only people who can't handle relegation are the board. I'd rather go down doing things the right way than this shower of shit

I'm talking about the "fairweather fans" who all seem to oddly be "losing interest in Rovers" since we started losing. Admittedly the new strategy won't help matters, but still.

I'd rather go down and keep our reputation, but then it's not up to us - I'm not going to blindly follow the board over this, but I won't exactly be leading the protests either.

Well if there's a protest I'll be there and I won't be the only one judging by the conversation on the coach today
