Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Well I'm surprised no one has metioned this match yet....!! Will we continue to just pass the ball around an not do much else or will we actually play the game as a proper match considering the season is now only a little while away!! Only time will tell. I myself will be in attendence as The keepquiet is not my favourite place. I shall be watching Athersley Recs first match of the season in their new league (Northern counties East) against Cleethorpes.

If we play right I'll go for a Barnsley 3-1 win if we're passing again we'll lose 2-1!

its only going to be half pace and pass and move again, i think the cup game will be used a game to try scoring in

I agree Nighty. I'm looking forward to the cup game at Rochdale. Think we'll take a few aswell. Can't go wrong for £15.

Am looking forward to it...gonna pick the tickets up today..a few beers and a bite to eat before the game..can't wait...anyone else going..looking at the tickets sales its gonna be a poor turnout..
