Our league fixtures for January;

Peterborough (H)
Barnsley (A)
Scunthorpe (A)
Plymouth (H)

With the greatest of respect to the sides listed here, three of them (Dingles the exception) are in the relegation dogfight with us. It's my opinion that the absolute minimum for us has to be winning the home games, and taking a point from Scunny. While I certainly wouldn't expect to get anything at Oakwell, local derbies are always a bit tasty, and anything can happen. No month for the rest of the season will be as forgiving. Anything less than, say, six points, and we could well be rock bottom and will certainly look increasingly beleagured.

The Dingles are on a good run, but all runs must come to an end at some point, they are not unbeatable or the best team in the championship, anyway i do see you getting six points from these games.

Plymouth at home will be the toughest as i think they are going to start a decent run and stay up.
The others should be three points however our six fingered freinds will be tough.

I agree with just about everything said here. Plymouth do seem to be picking up after the exit of (King) Paul Sturrock, and as I said before, even taking a point from Oakwell would be a nice bonus.
