i think we'll get a win, and if we do it would be great, i cant believe that we could be 7th on tuesday night (results depending of course). getting dizzy again. more importantly, we could be above sheff utd, in which case there will be a blades fan on footballforums.net that needs it rubbing in his face.
when they played barnsley i made a point of saying that the blades genuinely didnt put more than 4 passes together for the whole game, and the response i got from him was something like "you keep playing pretty football and we'll keep winning games"...oh how being above them would make me grin.

I know, maybe we won't have to spend anything on season tickets after all when we renew.....

You never know, a win on tuesday and again on saturday against the Blunts and who knows where we will be, following Rovers is no good for my sanity...

well, we might as well dream the dreams while we're winning, cos we'll only be pissed off when we're losing anyway. haha

I do hope you mean 0-1 at Peterborough Hoola, we are away you know (pedant )! 1 - 3 for me, Peterborough are bouyed up a bit after their first away win, but they didn't really cope with Rovers passing game at The Keepmoat. I can't see why we shouldn't do the same away, and with JET and Billy on form and Hayter chipping in the strikeforce is quite potent.

Re: Peterborough away
I think this could be the team we take apart, as long as we don't turn up thinking the game is won before they kick the ball, they are bottom but have all to play for and a wounded animal can be dangerous, hopefully though our passing football will be too much for them and with Billy missing Saturdays game against Utd i'm sure he will want to make up for it on tuesday night, 0-3 for me..

Pedant, I certainly did mean 0-1 but Posh are not to be underestimated they are just enjoying their footy in the knowledge that in all probability they are going down. As Yorkie says they have nothing to lose but they can at least gain some respect, a very difficult opponent at present.
To answer Superspy.....I am not being negative but I daren't dream of a chance to go up , my old heart just couldn't take it.

Re: Peterborough away
It is too early to go up. The reason why Derby are in a state is because they went up three years into a five year plan, andd then it happened and went wrong for them. They had a lot of good resources to recover with, Rovers do not have them. Give it another three years for us. Once 52 points have been won watch SOD start playing all the other players and not the strongest team, Woods and Roberts will disappear for their operations, and we will fall away from the playoffs. I just hope that Rovers fans have enough common sense to realise what is going off at that stage, but no doubt the stupid ones won't. Contract negotiations can happen a lot earlier this year, that will make planning easier, andd get targets in quicker. There are a lot of bonuses here!

If we did go up and i know its a big if i don't think for one minuite that Rovers would go silly spending money they did not have, they would have the parachute payment which JR must be happy with as he has offered all exisiting season ticket holders with a free one if we get promoted, in anycase what will be will be i'm just enjoying the ride...

That's always the fear , 10 years of unbridled and escalating year on year success will surprise us if it disappears down the chute by pushing too far far too soon. i have to agree with East Yorks assessment of how the rest of the season will pan out. This will be a great time to re-assess existing players, tweak the squad around and also look around for future squad players.
If we still carry on winning despite SO'D's efforts to 'rein in' then so be it , we will give it our best shot. I re-iterate what a great position to be in.
