Becauce of the speed that this has happened, i would not be too surprised if they have someone in mind as a replacement, lets just hope Sod is not on the short list..

Whoever they get they will want instant results, not something that Sod could probably give them, personally i can't see who they will get who will do any better job then Phil Brown with what he had to work with, they are always going to be there or there abouts no matter who is in charge.

Re: Phil Brown Sacked
I think the timing of bug eyes going on gardening leave was very very odd if im honest and the reaction to it was very mixed. Its obvious Pearson had planned to get rid of him so why didnt he just do it when he came back in October, which in my opinion he should have done because Browny and Duffen made us look like complete dipsticks and a laughing stock in 2009 and also his record (6 wins in 51 games) is just unacceptable and it seemed obvious in the interview Pearson disliked him as he described Dowie as a man who's "down to earth and has no ego", something the complete opposite of Brown as we all see Brown as an egotistical, tango pratt.
Even though we lost against Pompey on saturday i thought that we had more chance of getting something with Dowie in charge rather than Brown as sadly Phil Brown cannot motivate a squad to save his life and man management skills im afraid to say were never top of his agenda as he had a habit of falling out with alot of players.
Thank you Phil Brown for taking us to the Premier League, however winning 6 games out of 51 is not living the dream and potentially if we get relegated we could be absolutely buggered. So cheers but dont bother coming back to City again.

Re: Phil Brown Sacked
Funny how priorities change innit.
When Hull first went up , most Hull fans i spoke to were just happy to achieve that.
They were determined to enjoy their shot at the big time , and all the new grounds to visit etc...and if they went down they were still gonna enjoy the whole experience.
But , after the start they had last season , and the fact that they stayed up - now general opinion seems to be that Browns recent(ish) record is unacceptable and staying up is the number one priority.
Not having a go , just saying how things can change so easily

It has been a 'money game' for a long time interspersed with moments of beauty. Trying to be a successful footy team is like playing poker though, if you go ''all in'' at the wrong time you're fooked a la Pompey.
Fortunately we have a good and considered team at our club........we will survive now always.
