Work today
Very busy last couple of days on phones at work in the job shop. Big variation in quality of calls
Today I started with someone ringing from a phone box on a busy road in Birmingham, all I could hear was police cars and cars reving all way through.
Next call was a cockney lad ringing from his bed, yawning all the way through.
Then I had a girl ringing from a mobile on a bus in London, kept geting the sounds from the bus.
Next was a bloke ringing from mobile in car with a bloody Tom Tom on.
Then it was a woman outside a jobshop in Dudley on her mobile.Busy traffic all way through.
Then there was a woman ringing from a park in London, she was drowned out by the sound of a Blackbird or Thrush in the background.
Best call of the day was a Slovakian lass ringing from Sheffield. Been in UK for 7 years and spoke good English.Lived in London when she put herself through UNI and then ended up in Barnley where she met her English boyfiend. She had a Yorkshire twang to he voice and so polite. Loves it in Sheffield as she did in Barnsley, said the Tykes are lovely people. Bit worried when she goes home this summer for hols that she will be talking slovakian with a Yorkshire accent.
