Stoke Pair Sign For The Tykes
REDS BEAT OFF COMPETITION TO LAND DICKINSON
BARNSLEY manager Mark Robins has beaten off a host of clubs to sign Stoke City's highly rated defender Carl Dickinson on a three month emergency loan.
A product of Stoke's youth system, the 22-year-old has made 60 appearances for the Britannia Stadium side. He has enjoyed loan spells with Blackpool and Leeds United, earning rave reviews.
The deal is subject to registration.
SHOTTON SIGNS ON AT OAKWELL
BARNSLEY manager Mark Robins has again raided the transfer market to bring in highly-rated defender Ryan Shotton on a three-month emergency loan from Stoke City.
A product of Stoke's youth set up, the 20-year-old spent a season on loan at Altrincham during 2007/2008, making 36 appearances. He also spent last season at Tranmere Rovers, where he impressed during 39 games for at Prenton Park.
The deal is subject to registration.
