Scunny next match
Well, we are almost there, the last home game of the season, dosen't seem five minuites when we were boarding the bus for watford back in august, so how does everyone feel this will go, Scunny had a good result on saturday but they are much better at home then away, hopefully we will have copp's back and maybe Stocky, its gonna be a tough game but the lads will want to put on a display as it is the last home game...2-1 to Doncaster..

Re: Scunny next match
Taking my auntie and Brother to there first rovers match, hopefully we will perform at our best but i still have my doubts.
Donny 0-2 Scunthorpe
this will take them a massive step closer to safety infact i think they are safe anyway with 4 points clear and a game in hand,
They have reading - 0 points 2-1 loss
They have Us. - 3 points 2-0 win
They have Forest- 3 points 1-0 win.
There not as bad as many think and they are capable of springing a suprise, they have a great keeper and a very good in form striker and can our sloppy defence prevent them from scoring.
I doubt it.

I can just see it,our defence makes too many sloppy errors and it seems to always punish us,we are in a bigger mess than people think you know if we lose sharp and shackell and others then we have a wafer thin squad.

Neh your underestimating them a bit there pkt,as i have said they have a in form striker who will take martis all over the place.
Simple no communication between defence and keeper.

yes but i keep saying this, if we do lose them and in reality we have lost them already as they won't feature again this season, then we will replace them with other players, but i do agree that we are struggling with these key players out, thankfully we don't have long to go before the end of the season, just a good job we aren't in Wednesdays shoes battling it out at the bottom of the table.

Re: Scunny next match
yeah we will find replacements but they will cost money and quite a bit of it,to get a decent championship striker you are looking at 750k minimum and can we afford to chuck that type of money about.
Im not too sure.

We will go for players at the end of current contracts, think we have missed the boat but Elliott ward springs to mind, think he will go to preston now, but with Newcastle and westbrom going straight back up we get a share of there parachute payment think its 800K, that should go someway to helping us buy Billy..

Re: Scunny next match
2-0 win to us , the Scunts won't get away with the daft result they got at Blandford against us.
Should be a good turn-out, must admit dislike the Scunts intensely and am really up for this one, fancy dress anyone ?

Re: Scunny next match
Personally I'd rather Scunthorpe have gone down than Wednesday (if they do!). I don't particularly like Hillsborough but its a much better day out than Glanford Park (apart from the breakfast on the way )
Saturday will be a good day though, I love the last home game of the season!

Hmmmm must agree with you there 1) have to fork out the money and 2) have to wait for what seems an age for next season to start. I do love the last game but it does remind me of the empty Satdi's ahead filled with pathetic bbq's, cricket, transfer speculation, hayfever etc.
