This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

And listening to his interview on rovers player he is happy to be there Blah blah usual stuff they say oh and he is wanting to score for SWFC against DRFC in the freindly. And basically said it did not work out for him at ROVERS

But what can he say really? That he doesnt intend to try and score against us? We wouldnt like anyone we sign to hint they'd not score against us out of misguided loyalty

I like Heffs but it was time for both him and Rovers to move on. At the end of the day (and we should remember this re Billy) he's a striker and the main thing they want is to score goals. Heffs knew he was going but he still wanted to score for Rovers when he came back from his loan. And he'll want to score for Sheff Wednesday. Because its his job!

He did say that the style of play in the championship is alot harder or words to that effect anyway

I know he kept us up that first season but maybe he struggled more than we thought? I might not regard him as the answer to all DRFC's prayers but I do wish him well, nice lad who still has a lot to offer in football - like a large percentage of the players we let go

Nice to see ringing endorsements of the Heff all round, his goal scoring record already suggested that he'd be ideal for us in League One, but it's good to get first hand knowledge from those who've watched him.

Think Lewis will do ok next season , he won't have the crowd on his back and a fresh start is just what he needs.
