Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Heffernan has returned to Rovers after his 1 month loan deal has expired, seems like they are in talks with DRFC to get him back though and extend his loan deal.

Don't see him having any future at Rovers, something just does not click between him and Sod and if thats the case it is no good him sitting on the Bench at the keepmoat when he could be bettering himself somewhere else, i wish him well am sure he will do ok at Oldham.

It does appear that way and if that is or will be the case, thank you Heffs for all you have given to our club and that's a helluva lot. Sharp's recent success can never hide his contribution to our success, without him we would not be anywhere near where we are now. Smile Smile

So what can we read into this, is there an injury crisis at Rovers, the only striker i know of that is currently injured is Waide Fairhurst, and was there a plan to bring him back from Shrewsbury after his initial loan ran out, i would assume that Sod would always use Hayter as striker cover and there is always Shiels, Could there be another reason Heffernan is not been allowed to extend his loan, it could be that Sod is fearful that someone could be coming in for Billy or could it be that some other club has been making enquiries about Heffernan, maybe some club who might be about to lose there best Striker themselves in the January window and is looking for a replacement, somwhere like Notts county perhaps. That's because he was at the athletic's track running 4 minute mile after mile, I know I was there. He is getting seriously fast, soon he will be able to run back to Bristol overnight. Sad Sad Sad
