£10. to get in for the eccleshill match!i know it raises a few quid for local clubs, but thats taking the mick.
a couple of quid and kids go free is more like it.
for that reason im out.

Re: pre season
Seems a lot of dough but a tenner seems to be the going rate..............get yersen down. It's for one of your local teams isn't it, one day they may produce one of your star players.

Re: pre season
Yeah, I wanted to go... Expected it to be a quid or two... Then I saw that.
Don't think it's worth my money.

Re: pre season
^^ I'm not sure about that
However a tenner is abit ridiculous, I can't go anyway but I can see the price having a huge effect on the amount of fans that turn up.

Re: pre season
Its at Eccleshills ground.
Theres an equivalent game same night, Hudders at Wakey (Or so Ive been told) and they're charging £6 - far more reasonable.

Re: pre season
theres helping a local club out and then theres being taken for a ride, think it was £6 at farsley last time i went.thats about right and also eccy are a quite small local lge side, theyve just seen the £ signs and gone over the top.

Re: pre season
Perhaps it is too much on reflection but these small clubs do need to prepare and steward for much larger crowds than usual.

One of your trialists ? I always feel sorry for young lads who are trying to get their careers going. Decent crowd though that should help the club (eccleshill I mean).

Re: pre season
Luke Dean,i think he came through our youth system.hed just signed a 6 month contract looks like he,ll be out for 3 of those, broken tib.
things like these could make or break a young players career(no pun intended)
all the best dean.

He's young and will mend quickly enough and hopefully learn from the more senior professionals whist being sidelined.
