Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Well i actually enjoyed the game today and there was actually a little bit of an atmosphere down at Oakwell for a change!!
Parts of the game were quite open but still entertaining, we played some good stuff today and could have actually scored a couple more in my opinion mind you they could have got another too. Butterfield had a reyt game and topped it off with a very good goal am well happy we've started to shoot again instead of trying to pass it into the net. All in all a good afternoon of football.

Just a bit pissed off cos i put a pound on us to win 4-1 at 50/1......... lol!

Our lot have p**sed me off of late, & not being bothered to travel to Cheltenham, I decided to take in the crappy brand of football served up by Mark Robin's Barnsley.
D'ya know what? BFC played very well actually. Yes, a bit ropey at the back, especially 1st half, but Butterfield scored a goal that was worth the admission money alone, the midfield were bright & intelligent, & Harewood was great at leading the line (my MOM incidentally).
Acouple of piccies I took from the game, the second one if you can zoom it, shows McShanes 4th goal!!
