Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

From how it sounded on Barnsley Player we had a really good match against a fellow struggling team, which if we carry on the way we are we'll actually not be a struggling team anymore! Very Happy

Sometimes you have to win ugly. We did that today!

I get an enjoyment out to kind of robbing teams. Even though we ddin't rob them, they were just rubbish.

I didn't think we won ugly.They did more pressing because they were behind and at home.Thought we stifled them very well and were dangerous on counter.

No we didn't play our passing game and I'm glad we didn't.In my opinion that's why we couldn't win away under previous managers and we got court out to far up the field,play the passing game at home.

Yep, spot on. We wasn't ugly enough, and you need to be. The height of our squad is huge now, and it helps in this league.

Under Davey we had Diago Leon ffs, who was basically a teletubby who did fek all!

Its nice to support a club what is united, and everyone is behind each other.

I thought we deserved to win yesterday, as TheRev said, We played well on the counter attack, and how many teams have come to Oakwell and hit us like that? Bristol City did it, they were 2-0 up at half time and they should have been 2-0 down!

Yeah .....if you like seeing your team continually lose the lead?......seriously though.....do they go all defensive when they take the lead?......I think they would be better going for the jugular? Shocked
