This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Sheffield Wednesday face a tough away trip to Blackburn Rovers for the 2nd Round of this Years Carling Cup. After disposing Championship outfit Blackpool in the last round, Gary Megson is expected to name the same squad that triumphed at Hillsborough around two weeks ago.

The last time these two met in the Carling Cup was back in 2002, when Blackburn beat the Owls 6-3 on aggregate. A previous meeting was also in the 1993 Carling Cup where the scoreline was again 6-3, this time Wednesday taking the spoils.

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said that he will field a team that is capable of beating the Owls, but with Blackburn without a win and Kean under pressure, Wednesday might well reach the 3rd round for the first time since 2004.

Blackburn: Bunn, Emerton, Olsson, Givet, Hanley, Nzonzi, Petrovic, Rochina, Pedersen, Formica, Goodwillie

Substitutes: Robinson, Salgado, Dunn, Ribeiro, Hoillet, Roberts, Lowe

Owls: O'Donnell, Otsemobor, Batth, R Johnson, Reynolds, Sedgwick, O'Connor, Coke, Palmer, Madine, Uchechi
