The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

I would love it if our respective clubs found a way to thrown these little scallys out of football. it seems now a days every club has it's own small section chavs!!, who tend to refer to themselves as a "firms". I post this because every saturday at home, we get a group of about 20 - 25 what can only be described at 12-16 olds thinking there "well ard" who choose to make up pathetic chants and cause trouble outside the ground, with the visiting supporters who have just come for the day out!!. Funnily enough they never appear at away games, probabley because they know they'd be beaten the shit out of by the outnumbering home fans. I have recentley read reports of Carlisle fans and various other clubs having similar problems with kids.

whats the solution?

BAN THEM!!!! Lol, I know what you mean, I think every club has a group of them. Unfortunately I don't think there is much that can be done! It makes you feel kind of sorry for the visiting fans as they just want a good match. I think it also makes you slightly ashamed of your club that these people think they can act like that.

Yeah which is infuriating for those people who are real supporters of the club!
