This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

I have a couple but never drink more then that and drive, i had a mate who i knew years ago who was killed by one. Crying or Very sad

Sorry about that mate, what a waste for a life to be taken so cheaply.

Isn't a couple over the limit nowadays Yorkie? 1 or 2 spaced out with a meal would be fine....i think, i dont personally drive so don't know how it would affect me.

Well truthfully Dale i have a couple and still drive but i stick at 2 if i am driving suppose i would not know the answer if i am or not with a couple of pints

From my knowledge of the subject (watch road wars on the odd occation) it dosnt matter whether you are sober as a judge or pissed as a fart, its the amount of alcohol you've had. So you may well be capable of having 2 pints and being perfectly fine but could still get done.

Cant see you getting pulled though if your driving is fine anyway.

I always thought it was 1? Yeah i would check mate, be a shame for level headed drivers who can handle there ale to get pinched unnecissarily. Better to be safe and all that.

Well , i reckon drink-driving should be zero tolerance.
If you're gonna be drinking ANY alcohol then you shouldn't be driving.

People may think they're ok after a couple , but really you don't know how your reactions are gonna be til summat actually happens.
It's just not worth it imo
