I've had a dream

‘Billy’s gonna get yer’
Bellowed from the Donny end
T’was the fans way of sending
The jealous scunts round the bend
It wasn’t big or clever
Making all those fans incensed
But although I had to sympathize
The feeling was immense.

Soon the game kicked off
And it was Donny on attack
Billy’s effort hit the bar
The defender cut him slack
Then a free kick from the left
Made its way towards Gillet
Who chipped the ball to Billy
Who stuck it in the net

Then Scunny got aggressive
And the ref was doing nowt
An elbow right in Billy’s face
Almost knocked him out
Then as he scrambled to his feet
Before the count of ten
Someone kicked him up the arse
And down he went again

The game continued like this
With no protection from the ref
The Rovers fans were raging
But the officials acted deaf
Billy was relentless
And showing lots of guts
He carried on regardless
Till someone kicked him in the nuts

The Rovers fans were fuming
As Billy rolled across the floor
Surely he’ll be taken off
As his tears began to pour
But after thirty seconds
With the trainer’s magic sponge
He was up and running once again
Avoiding lunge after lunge


Rovers held on to the lead
The crowd were going crackers
Scunny fans were very sore
A bit like Billy’s knackers
But as the seconds ticked by
And the whistles gathered pace
Up popped Billy in the box
To seal it with a brace

Excellent.....lets hope your right about the score...but not Billys bits..
